BG record

Bariki has returned to Jk after 15 basho in BG following 3 zenpai kyujo bashos.  This prompts the question of who spent the most time in BG and still returned to active status?

As far as I know that is now the record, surpassing the 12-basho stint of Asaamami (now Asanoshima).

What is wrong with the guy?

He seems to have a problem in the lower back which doesn't allow him to be straight. But there seems to be much more than that.

Also, don't know if it was due to being nervous or in pain, but he looked to be mentally challenged (I'm not trying in any way to make a depreciative comment)

But hey, he's recovered enough to defeat a powerhouse like Hattorizakura.

Wow, I hope he came back to say goodbye. He seems in great discomfort and doesn't have enough mobility to put his hands down to the shikiri-sen. I commend him getting a return bout but there is no way he can or should continue.
