The goal of the game is to pick one juryo rikishi that you think will win for the day and try to get the longest streak possible. Rules: 1. Pick one Juryo rikishi from the 28 ranked on the banzuke that you think will win for the day 2. You do not have to stay with that one rikishi for the whole basho 3. You can pick juryo rikishi who are in makuuchi or makushita crossover matches, but you cannot pick the makuuchi/makushita opponents 4. Your picks must be posted in this thread or submitted by PM to me by no later than 12pm (Japan time) each day of the basho (7pm PST) 5. Designate a default rikishi in case you are not able to submit a pick for the day 6. In the case you do not submit a pick for the day or are late, your default rikishi will be substituted7. You are allowed to change your default rikishi at any time during the basho as long as you declare it in your submissions. If your default change happens after the deadline, the previous default rikishi will be used 8. A loss by your pick will wipe out your winning streak and you will have to start over 9. Everybody on the forums are allowed to participate and you may start posting on any day of the basho (if you like you can start posting from day 8 for example) 10. The player with the longest streak in the basho will be declared the yusho winner 11. In the case of a tie for longest streak of the basho, a tiebreaker will not be enforced which results in co-yusho winners 12. Active streaks do not end on senshuraku (last day) of the basho and will continue into the next basho as well *Rule 12 from Kyushu 2018 has been moved to rule 7, all rules after that are moved down 1 Good luck and looking forward to playing with you all!
