WAKATAKE Posted January 11, 2018 Posted January 11, 2018 Welcome to The Perfect Team Hatsu 2018! In this game you will select a team of nine rikishi across the six divisions. All members of your team has to have had a perfect attendance through their careers, not missing a single match. You will be able to select three makuuchi, two juryo, and one from each division below the sekitori ranks. Your team members will score points for you based on their designation or division. Designate your team based on the following scoring system: Makuuchi 1 - 15/win Makuuchi 2 - 13/win Makuuchi 3 - 12/win Juryo 1 - 11/win Juryo 2 - 10/win Makushita - 9/win Sandanme - 8/win Jonidan - 7/win Jonokuchi - 6/win There will also be a bonus point system based on other results from your team members. These include completing the basho with perfect attendance, upset wins over yokozuna and ozeki, and division yusho wins. Bonus points are also crucial for tiebreakers and will have higher criteria in case of ties. Bonus scores have been revised from last basho, please see below for the complete bonus point list. For lower divisions, half the participants picked Kototebakari for Jonokuchi, and the other half picked Yoshoyama. These two ended up being paired on day 1 with Kototebakari coming out the victor. Sandanme and Jonidan picks are unanimous with Shoji and Hayashi being the picks in their divisions. Makushita is the most diverse for the lower division picks as Yago, Nishikifuji, Ryuko, and Tomokaze are split between our six participants.
