Takakeisho was at the rikishi-kai today - Takerufuji obviously not - both are officially kyujo and not yet fit. Takakeisho is only doing the basics so far: "I'm not thinking about the future now"

The external chairman of the compliance committee gave a 30min lecture: "No violence please, it disrupts the life as a rikishi." The traditional lecture for all NSK members about violence will be given in June.

Apparently some rikishi didn’t attend the meeting. If they did then they must have slept through it.

Typically, corporate "Violence in the workplace" trainings are designed in order to absolve the company of any potential liability - "look, we trained them, not our fault!".

Terunofuji and Hoshoryu at the rikishi-kai on Christmas Eve

Hoshoryu after start of keiko in Osaka went to the Edion Arena for the Haru basho rikishi-kai yesterday - his first as yokozuna

At the rikishi-kai, the retired rikishi who will have an intai-zumo after the upcoming basho, appear to thank the rikishi for performing there for him without charge.

Takakeisho is the next, on Oct. 4th, Myogiryu the next day, Aoiyama has no intai-zumo, his danpatsu-shiki will be on Sep. 7th at the kokugikan event floor, for related people he invited

I'm afraid I have to say that Takakeisho looks extremely unhealthy with this weight loss now - more like a 70 year old in this photo
