The gist is that they are happy with the Harumafuji yusho but not with the kinboshi dispensing and Goueidou was a disappointment. As for the 3 kyujo Yokozuna they fully understand that they had to take time off to heal and hope they will be back to their old strong selves quickly, since as Yokozunae they have the responsibility to show up.. You really don't have to read to know this is what they would say more or less.. "I can't praise an 11-4 yusho, that's for sure. I thought that the 4th Yokozuna was showing signs of falling apart as well and that he wouldn't be able to win, but he made a remarkable recovery. He has to uphold the honor.." said Kitamura chairman man. Goueidou's tsuna run? "Not a single member of the YDC thinks that can happen. If he gets a zensho, we'll talk.." summed the Chairman.

Thank you. I am not surprised about the comments on 11-4. I wrote earlier that I was expecting them to be unhappy he didn't have 2-3 more wins.

That's got to be a little disheartening for Goueidou, hopefully he seems like the kind of guy who uses adversity as fuel instead of the kind of guy who gives up. Too bad for him there's no such thing as a kadoban yokozuna. He could win or place every third basho or so.

Honestly, Goeido only had three double digit kk since his Ozeki promotion three years ago, but six mk. I do not think that he is worrying about those comments or a possible Yokozuna promotion at all (maybe he will one day if two or three of our current Yokozuna should retire soon, but right now I am quite sure he is content with getting rid of the kadoban tag).
