d_golem Posted March 26, 2017 Posted March 26, 2017 Uraaaaa!! Well done lad!! And Takakeisho, I still remember what you did to Ura, you carry youself ungainly and you do look like a certain baking stuff mascot, but you got skills and I respect you for that.

WAKATAKE Posted March 26, 2017 Posted March 26, 2017 Kise's victory was so shocking that it shut down Sumo DB 2
Mihasan Posted March 26, 2017 Posted March 26, 2017 (edited) Yeah, baby!!!! Kiseno is the man!!! Edited March 26, 2017 by Mihasan
WAKATAKE Posted March 26, 2017 Posted March 26, 2017 Kise can't hold it together while singing Kimigayo
WAKATAKE Posted March 26, 2017 Posted March 26, 2017 And NHK decided to cut off before the interview speech, so if someone gets a video of it, I'd love to see what he has to say, thanks. 1
d_golem Posted March 26, 2017 Posted March 26, 2017 (edited) He's injured right?? He might just have been faking and that horrible purple bruise is the masterpiece of a very skilled make-up artist!! Congratssss Kiseeeee!! and curse you NHK!!!!! Edited March 26, 2017 by d_golem
ScottyJoyJrBebe Posted March 26, 2017 Posted March 26, 2017 Kisenosato. You. Are. The. MAN! For those who claimed he didn't deserve promotion, I believe that is BACK TO BACK Yusho. 14-1Y 13-2Y. And those two wins came with an injury. Takanohana must feel proud. 2
Otokonoyama Posted March 26, 2017 Posted March 26, 2017 Some incredible konjo, or guts, shown by Kise today. I think one of our members wrote this very ending just last night, but what an exciting show it was.
MumboJumbo Posted March 26, 2017 Posted March 26, 2017 That was incredible. Hats off to yokozuna Kisenosato. Back-to-back! I could just see Terunofuji's soul leave him there. He was completely crushed. I guess he will have next basho to prove himself. He really choked it there, not to take anything away from Kisenosato.
Jakusotsu Posted March 26, 2017 Posted March 26, 2017 He had to work hard for it, but now Kisenosato is the best-performing shin-yokozuna since Takanohana.
MrGrumpyGills Posted March 26, 2017 Posted March 26, 2017 That was amazing. Wow. I'm at a loss for words :O Didn't think he'd be able to force a playoff with his mostly useless left arm, let alone win the yusho! And yet he did. What a lovely day!! :D
whtbox Posted March 26, 2017 Posted March 26, 2017 (edited) Omg I was giving up hope that kisenosato is going to lose against Terunofuji. But after I heard he won the first one open my eyes and wasn't much hope on play off. Then he won again! I'm gobsmacked and so happy he won with his guts and spirit. Well done Kisenosato! Dwale Posted March 26, 2017 Posted March 26, 2017 Just woke up and saw a pic of Kisenosato with the cup. Oh my God, how? HOW!?
Shokikogi Posted March 26, 2017 Posted March 26, 2017 I´m becoming a Kise-fan. This is unbelievable and beautiful! It´s incredible how likely and cute Kisenosato is. What has he gone through to become yokozuna, yusho-winner in a row and a highly sympathic person. It´s only a plus that he is an high-end athlete, even with a dislocated shoulder. A true yokozuna!
