inhashi Posted March 12, 2017 Posted March 12, 2017 Some disheartening news of Toyonoshima. He will be kyujo for today with pain in the right calf being the reason.

He'll be on that list for day 2 or day 3, depending on when they make it official.
Fukurou Posted March 12, 2017 Author Posted March 12, 2017 Day 1 Fusen Makushita 2 East TOYONOSHIMA and Jonidan 81 East TAKANONARI did not appear for their matches on Day 1. Forum member inhashi reports Toyonoshima has pain in his right calf.
Akinomaki Posted March 12, 2017 Posted March 12, 2017 (edited) Gyoji kyujo: From the (cursed?) new(?) I haven't heard anything about which permanent location the heya has/will have. Edited March 13, 2017 by Akinomaki

Tiger Tanaka Posted March 16, 2017 Posted March 16, 2017 Very unfortunate. He didn't look in good form and the foot had to be hampering him. I'm sure the tough decision on day 4 didn't help.
d_golem Posted March 16, 2017 Posted March 16, 2017 In protest of the non-torinaoshi decision, perhaps?
MumboJumbo Posted March 16, 2017 Posted March 16, 2017 Kaisei is back?? I guess he doesn't want to drop too far. Hakuho clearly had trouble generating any meaningful power. I hope we can get one basho with four healthy yokozunae.
Jyuunomori Posted March 16, 2017 Posted March 16, 2017 (edited) It seems I was off by 3 days.. Thought that Kaisei would return on day 3. Kintamayama was off by a mile. :P Edited March 16, 2017 by Jyuunomori
