It's not too bad, typical mobile cardgame (collect rikishi, level up, power up, etc).
Just trying to collect enough kensho to purchase the more powerful booster packs.

The battle system at the end (when one party is down to 0 hp) is just paper-rock-scissor, the winner gets to stay in the match even at 0 hp.
The only way to win is to get the other party down to 0hp, and you must win the PRS battle before you dropped to 0hp (otherwise, it will become sudden death PRS).

The NSK twitter keeps announcing new characters for the app, I think I skipped one during the basho, now it's Ishiura - I would never guess it to be him - they also always announce rikishi cards for the official card game

It looks more like Tokushoryu than Ishiura.

and the chances of landing a 4* card is miniscule at 2% per 10 card draw. Only have 1 (Goeidou) after running 2 separate accounts.

you haven't even see the oyakata's rikishi era cards, or even Tochiozan's.
