Kintamayama Posted August 6, 2004 Posted August 6, 2004 Special cushions will be issued to over- 60 year old patrons of Masuseki, it was announced today. Aki and Hatsu wil be trial runs accompanied by questionnaires, and if all goes well, this will be introduced officially in May. 100 pieces have been ordered. They will be distributed free of charge. "We have to try and make our elderly patrons as comfortable as possible", said Hanaregoma Oyakata, who is in charge of comfort. And I ask myself- can this have anything to do with the smoking ban planned in the near future? Souken will be on September 6th. I have no idea if it will be open to the general public, as lately it hasn't been.

Shomishuu Posted August 9, 2004 Posted August 9, 2004 (In a state of confusion...) Special cushions will be issued to over- 60 year old patrons of Masuseki, it was announced today. Aki and Hatsu wil be trial runs accompanied by questionnaires, and if all goes well, this will be introduced officially in May. 100 pieces have been ordered. They will be distributed free of charge. And I ask myself- can this have anything to do with the smoking ban planned in the near future? As an over 60 year-old who doesn't smoke anyway -- how could life get any better??
