It's a good night to be a Chiyo in Juryo. 3 for 3.

Seems to be injured, it is very weird for someone so powerful to lose three times in a row with relative ease. Could go to 0-7. Could be because of injury or nerves.

Yamaguchi and Iwasaki are doing fine though.

Also I refuse to believe that Seiro is this bad. What is going on with him? Injury?

The most competitive spot on the banzuke is the top of Makushita. An absolute dog fight. Oyangi will be fine.

Ura gets slaughtered after failing in his signature technique of falling slower than his opponent which led to a torinaoshi.

For me is like watching the same bout everyday when watching ura this basho, looks like he always ends falling trying to pull out his opponent or go down trying to go for the leg. It seems like he is trying something and is not being able to pull it of (obviously, duh!) but is determined to try it until he gets it. Well, things are not looking good for him now. Both him and Daieisho didn't know what to do in the torinaoshi.

Gagamru is looking positively svelte. Great win for him today but he looked very flushed, not well.

Endou looks like a youkouzuna.

Great bout between Endou and Kotoyuuki. Kotoyuuki tried to take to shove him off but the guy just kept pushing!!

Woot! Kotoyuki starts out strong but can't put Endo away and grab the endough. First loss for Kotoyuki.  East has swept all matches so far.

Amakaze gets the first win for the west.

Chiyootori gets the right number of bounces this time and gets his first win of the basho. good job.

Guess there's no doubt about okinoumi now, i see at least a 11-4 for him this basho

Luckily for Okinoumi he gets a torinaoshi when Shohozan couldn't keep his foot in. Okinoumi easily wins the rematch, 5-0. Great job.

Ura lost his second bout in a row for the first time ever in his career yesterday, today this "first ever losing streak" was extended to 3 consecutive losses.

And unfortunatelly Kaisei B is getting first at the car every morning and is dificulting to Kaisei A if he shows up until the end of the basho...

Gyoji was really pissed with Tochiozan doing that jump at the tachiai against Kotoshougiku. He frowned so hard that even in the bad quality of sherming22 i was able to noticed it. Tochiozan should have apologized to the shinpan and all like kotoyuuki does all the time
