I fear that his only chance is heanking the Egyptian Elbow. This should be a match for the final day, but that's not how it works.

Kintamayamasama! I know you rarely include Juryo in your videos but please, PLEASE include the Ura/Osunaarashi bout and I know everyone would love to see how Aminishiki is doing, if at all possible.

Otesuu wo okakeshimasu!

I see they have put Oyanagi (ms1) in to replace Toyonoshima since he is kyujo. Will they rotate someone in from Makushita each day to fill that spot?

Or will they allow Oyanagi to keep going each day if he beats his opponent? Can he compete for the Juryo Yusho or is he barred from fighting more than 7 matches as a Makushita?

7 matches max. Makushita yusho-yes, Juryo yusho-no.

It looks likely that M5e Aoiyama will face Harumafuji, Terunofuji and Takarafuji.  I wish him well, but 8 wins seems unlikely.

Mita vs Chionokuni is an interesting 1st day match.   Will Mitakeumi start on the right foot to redeem himself after his 1st trip to butt heads with Zunas and Ozekis?  Or, will Chinokuni continue his upward movement with a win on the 1st day?   For me, it's just as intriguing 1st day match as Ozu vs Ura.

I noticed that Y2e Kakuryu is on the west side. Is this normal?  If Y1e Harumafuji goes kyujo will Kakuryu move back to the east?

Juryo is a bit more interesting this time around. I would like to see what the injured upper division boys can do. There are random posters on youtube and there are people who always post all the Ura matches, he has quite a following.

It is strange that the NSK is only listing the numerical ranking of the rikishi in the torikumi on its website.  The East/West portion of the rank is missing.

A different Makushita guy will fill that spot each day, unless another Juryo guy goes kyujo and then it gets balanced out and they won't need one. Unless they need Juryo guys to go up to Makuuchi (for the same reason) and then it becomes more complicated... But basically, in the event that there is an uneven number of rikishi in a division they will bring up a high ranked and well performing guy from the next lower division each day to fill the slot as required. Any wins only count towards the yusho for the division the rikishi is actually ranked in.

I hope Yoshikaze slaps the crap out of Kakuryu. He is a horrible Yokozuna. The sooner he goes intai the better.

The problem is that I just don't have the time, and by the time someone else posts Juryo bouts mine is already done.

Ok, no problem. Anything you can do is great. Thanks.  I just like to have your comments on the vids.

Tomorrow Ms2w Ryuden is guest in Juryo. I wonder how they will go on with including Makushita rikishi. How far will they go down in the Makushita ranks or when do they take Oyanagi again?

Ms3 is normally the limit, though that's not set in stone. And they don't necessarily start at Ms1e again afterwards.

OK. Perhaps I was more than a bit harsh. I don't dislike Kakuryu or anyone else for that matter. I expect Yokozunae, who are not injured, to win at least 11 bouts.  If Kakuryu is injured than I apologize. With Hakuho kyujo, this is anyone's yusho.

Bumpkin is a term of endearment. Perhaps this whole conversation should be moved to Aki basho talk. Mods?
