Kintamayama Posted July 4, 2016 Posted July 4, 2016 Back in Tokyo, Kokonoe Oyakata was driving his car when he grazed a 40 year old pedestrian with his side view mirror. The pedestrian injured his right elbow ever so slightly. It seems that at around 8 PM on Saturday evening, the pedestrian, who was walking on the left hand side of the road, was hit by the side mirror of Kokonoe's vehicle as the latter attempted to overtake him. Further investigation is pending. Educated guess- DUI. Now we'll have to see if this becomes an issue or if it will be instantly forgotten. I vote for forgotten. 7 1
RabidJohn Posted July 5, 2016 Posted July 5, 2016 Wow! In a pure coincidence, that happened to me this morning! Nothing to do with dui, though. Just a combination of a foolish pedestrian not paying attention and me having to tuck tight to the kerb to avoid an oncoming idiot. Luckily, I'd also slowed to around 15mph by then, so it gave him more of a shock than a bruise... 3

That's probably the gentlest that Chiyonofuji has ever struck anyone, and he did it while driving a 2000 lb vehicle. 2
