Penalty takers for he finals.....

I have the list of Penalty takers from the following:-

Fujiko, Jakusotsu, Jejima, Mr Fluffy, mischashimaru and Nantonoyama and kuroimori, Achiyama and Krisachiyama and chishafuwaku,.

I have an incomplete line-up from:-

mischashimaru (missing the time for the first goal in the finals)

I am awaiting PK line-ups for the finals from:-

Achiyama, chishafuwaku, chiyonosora, chokoryu, Krisachiyama, kuroimori, MBugger and shumitto.

Remember to arrange the four finalists (Portugal, Wales, France and Germany) into your predicted final positions, and predict the time of the first goal in the finals.

(Just remembered that I don't require the PK line-ups for Krisachiyama and shumitto, as their finals is this round.)

Due to there only being two real matches, the rules are a little different. Below is copied and pasted from the rules thread.

Rules for the semi-finals

The two real semi-final matches are broken into 'three' parts.

a) the result of the first half

b) the result of the second half

c) the result of extra time (if no extra-time, this counts as a 'normal' 0-0 draw - even if it features a © or ® team) - Penalty shoot-outs are not included.

Players need to label which part of the match they are predicting. Remember that a player predicts for all parts of the match for the teams still on his roster. So if the player has all four teams, he will have 12 slots in total. Label as follows:- (1st) = first half, (2nd) = second half, (ET) = Extra time.

Just to confirm if I got this right: "result of the second half" means the aggregate score after the 2nd half (after 90 minutes) or the pure result of the 2nd half?

For example:

France led Iceland 4-0 after the first half (a clear win for France and a loss for Iceland)

The final score after the 2nd half was 5-2 (France won, but Iceland won the 2nd half 2-1)

Sorry to bring this up and thanks for clarifying!

My old and befuddled Refyoji brain seems to remember that each section is treated seperately (i.e. Iceland won the 2nd half).

Okay, all is clear now! Thanks a lot!

Each half (and extra time) is treated separately.

So, in the excellent example given, Iceland 'won' the second half 2-1, but lost the first half '4-0'.

Allright, thanks again!

In fact, I used the "Iceland won the 2nd half" before bowing out of Euro Cup 2016 to a very saddened new Iceland fan (a.k.a. my girlfriend...)

I've received SF lineups from Achiyama and Jejima, still waiting for Chokoryu and Kuroimori - eleven hours to go!

I am on it but work keeps interrupting me doing this important strategic task... so many options, so many ways to screw things up...

that's just typical in football.

Too many players don't respect the ref! ;-)

P.S.: Happened to me as well - I also sent my line-up to the wrong refioji...

Jejima's comment: Nothing much to see here after the first half of Wales vs Portugal action (but there is an advert break, so I will do an update!)..... I am thinking that shumitto's best chance of winning the Bench Saucer is if the Wales vs Portugal match ends with penalties.....
