Not a big deal, Fujisan-zeki,

Don't you get a page of Survey Monkey saying "Thank you for submitting this survey" or something like that. That means that it is sent successfully.

Today, I received again 2 responses from you but they have different back-up picks. I'll consider the one sent later in case of a Fusen of the main pick, right?

ATTENTION ! SOME CLARIFICATION AND HINTS ATTENTION !

1.) When you make your picks and Click "DONE"

if you see on the top of the page which pops-up

that means that the Entry Form is successfully sent.

2.) If you don't see this, there should pop up ! This question requires an answer on the top of the Question which is missed.

I activated this alert for the Shikona (Q1) as the first day several Gamers forgot to write their Shikona.

I activated this alert also for the Main Pick (Q2) and the Back Up Pick (Q3), so no picks will be missed.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Best Regards and Good Luck,

Achiyama

LOL! The first rule of any online form: make sure ALL safeguards are in place! And even then...expect someone to screw it up! ;)

This is because I found, recommended by Senkoho, the fastest way to create and use a private way of submitting the Entry Form.

Who cares that it will say "Thank you for taking this survey".

I looked for help to do the automation through the Sumo games computer gurus, but was turned down for one reason or another.

So, please, be more accepting, instead of looking to find faults.

Achiyama...might be a language thing here, but Fujisan wasn't attacking you...he was actually attacking himself! :)

Thanks for the clarification Panda-zeki,

But I took it as a complaint.

Posted

Might be a language thing, but it still makes it two of us who read it as a complaint about not receiving an email confirming one's sanity.

It's not easy to manage a game while not having access to a domain or not being an IT specialist.

Jesus...I was just explaining. Of course it was a complaint, but it wasn't meant as a slight against Achiyama. That's the point I was making. Fuj made that clear by calling himself a 'bit of a thicko'. People are so sensitive these days...or maybe I'm getting old. Everyone appreciates the work Achiyama puts in with the game...Fuj included, no doubt.

Posted (edited)

it's a monkey survey for cryin' out loud.... fun thicko times! I like it's uniqueness. Take a deep breath Achiyama-san. You're doing well with the new approach. These are elbows in the ribs, not pricks to the heart.

Now to figure out how to put some monkey business in the TORCH game.... hmmmm........

I want mine to say, "This survey may have accepted your entry...confirmation is pending, but no need to submit again....thank you."

(Osh...)

Achiyama...might be a language thing here, but Fujisan wasn't attacking you...he was actually attacking himself! :)

Thanks for the clarification Panda-zeki,

But I took it as a complaint.

Thanks for trying to help Simon.......

Actually it wasn't a complaint, more of an observation to explain my actions in sending the same post twice...

Achiyama I am sorry if I didn't make myself clear but I like your game and I have been playing these games long enough to know no game is perfect however big or small they are.....

Bench sumo is my favourite game but I cant even begin to explain the problems that has had over the years.....

Sumo game I haven't been to get on the website for most of my time playing the game(With the help of two good friends I have got past that)

I think you have been playing the games long enough to know if I did have a complaint I would make it clear thats what it was......COMPLAINT would be in capital letters and surrounded by flashing lights.....

Trust me I could name some posters on this site who have recieved my complaints and their "ears" are still ringing......

Sorry for the misunderstanding and thank you for the game Achiyama......

All is good guys.

I am not angry with anybody.

Just the fatigue of the last day of the week. I must have been tired going to bed every day at about 2-3 AM and getting up at 7:00, going to work etc.

I should blame the 16 hours time difference between Japan and Pacific NW, which definitely gives a toll on your stamina.

To be frank, I think, the implementation to the new way of submitting the picks is going pretty smoothly until now.

I expected more problems and/or glitches when you don't know what to expect when you try to adjust a product, used for different purpose, to a sumo game.

I cross fingers everything to be o.k. till the end of the basho.

Best Regards,

Achiyama
