I don't think so. Mukiryoku? Definitely. Hakuho went for a harizashi and just didn't pull it back in time? I don't buy Hak throwing a match and Toyonoshima NOT throwing it, though. Again, if I had the book, that's not how I'd work it. Unless they want Giku to job to Goeido tomorrow to again force a playoff. Sumo IS weird, isn't it?

Not that I love her any less because of that.

But given the ambiguity of that reversal and its consequences for Tochinoshin's rank, might it not have been better to call for a rematch? Edited January 24, 2016 by orandashoho
