An impression from watching the Kyushu basho from the best seats

with a short glimpse of the new Nagatanien Endo-hug-doll banners

That's a great perspective and gives a good idea of the ringside experience... for those fortunate to get such seats... thanks for sharing!

BTW: Is it just me? How many people in your live told you, you somehow look like Ben Kingsley?

I've had Bruce Willis, Telly Savalas and Meg Ryan, but Kingsley is a first.

A mixture of George Clooney and Brad Pitt, I'd say.

Here's my dumb newbie question-of-the-day for Tenshinhan: *where* is the video found in the db? I found one once, but couldn't repeat the process.

Click the "blue box" in the line for the match you want to watch. His link will take you to all of the matches for the day. Once there, you can pick matches for another day.

If there's a video available, there will be an icon in the middle right above their head-to-head record. If it doesn't show up for you for ones that you know there should be a video available for, I don't know what to tell you.

Which blue box, exactly? (Chrome/Mac OS X)

Actually it should look like this. I don't know why you can't see the icons.

The last Makuuchi bout decided by yaguranage was in Nagoya 2009 between Harumafuji and Asashoryu:

Added this one to the DB. First time I've done that. Took me a few minutes to figure out how to do that. Hope that is OK.

Thanks a lot for this!

Actually, I just read about that last yaguranage while checking the sumo articles at the Sports pages of Nikkei Shimbun at the office today and wanted to check the DB for a video of that bout later on.

That makes only 3 yaguranage in Makuuchi since 1975, if is correctly mentioned in the video at 2:20 min

(and it's always nice to see clips of Asa in action - although the clip starts just after the famous "seigen jikan ippai hip slap of doom")
