Andonishiki Posted November 6, 2015 Posted November 6, 2015 not sure if that's a good thing to have highest agreement with others... probably means I end up somewhere in the middle of the pack, right ? better be contrarian ? u got any empirical data, how the person with highest agreement did in this game in the past ? cant wait for the baaaa shoooow 1
Asojima Posted November 6, 2015 Author Posted November 6, 2015 u got any empirical data, how the person with highest agreement did in this game in the past ?I published a study a year or two ago that covered a lot of bashos. The conclusion was that agreeability had little, if anything, to do with success in the game. The high and low agreeability numbers bounced all over the place in the final standings. 1
Profomisakari Posted November 6, 2015 Posted November 6, 2015 not sure if that's a good thing to have highest agreement with others... Not the agreement with ather players is important, but the agreement with the real results, Ando! But I think it is an interesting comparison, how the others voted. And reduced to the correct picked bouts it is a tiebreaker information (best agreement for these is the worst tiebreaker value). Profo

Pandaazuma Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 What am I doing in the top half? I suppose it's a barometer of my gaming generally this basho: this is the only game (except for ISP) that I always do terribly in. But this basho I'm going well in ISP and this game but hardly anywhere else! If it really is a barometer, I'm going to win this game! 1
