Sorry for stating the obvious here. I know it's early days yet and things might look very different on the last day, but so far there is a youth movement in the two top divisions. On the Makuuchi leaderboard the four youngest in that division are up there among the 8 best results (those with only one loss or less). And in the Juryo division 5 of the 6 best results are held by the five youngest there as well. What is 32 year old Kitazakura doing up there? (Sigh...)

Should be fun to see how well this new generation can do in the near future, especially if the top young Juryo rikishi's were to be promoted up to the Makuuchi and compete there.
