I haven't even watched it yet but I want to say thankyou, once again, for helping bring sumo to life for many of us with no other options to see it.

I wholeheartedly agree.

I uploaded some videos to the database, but only all Mongolians, Sadogatake and some friends.

UBS 1 archive of the Day1 makuuchi matches. Sumo starts about 3 minutes in and has end to end coverage of the action. UBS Global streamed NHK's digest of the Day 1 makuuchi action from at least 2:30 AM JST to 2:58. Resolution is fair. The motion was smooth (not as jerky as other UBS programming). Both have Mongolian commentary overlaying the Japanese commentary.

Note: The archive is in at least 3 pieces. After the first one ends, Click on the 15:20 entry on the schedule to the right to get segment 2, and the next one for segment 3.

What would I do without Kinta's videos? (Clapping wildly...)

(I signed NHK World Premium and simply could not wake to watch this Sunday - 4am is hard)

No Dvr? Seems like every cable provider where i am at includes that in every package. Also they are not to expensive to buy. Not that it matters much as with Kinta and Jason I get all the coverage you can need.

UBS Day 1 NHK Digest archive. Starts at 11:30 mins in. 2 Pieces. 2nd segment starts at 10:30 in the schedule.

Note: This appears to be a special digest emphasizing the Mongolian rikishi.

Original sumo broadcast is long and boring, that is why making a condensed version is such an epic effort from Kinta. Thanks so very much.

PS: Is Hakuho still drunk on day one?

Has any Maezumo been uploaded? I quite enjoyed watching a bit of that last time.

Usually gets going on Day 3, I believe.

Not in Haru. Usually mae-zumo starts on day 3 and rikishi finish after 3 wins. In Haru mae-zumo is done in two groups starting at day 2 and 3, and rikishi finish after 2 wins.
