Quintalomaru Posted July 6, 2004 Posted July 6, 2004 sorry but Hokutoriki have a win at day 2... (Showing respect...)
Jakusotsu Posted July 6, 2004 Posted July 6, 2004 Not a single Ozeki left, but Miyabiyama, Toyozakura and Otsukasa instead - quite surprising.
aderechelsea Posted July 6, 2004 Posted July 6, 2004 sorry but Hokutoriki have a win at day 2... :-| not really ... he lost to Kotoryu by oshidashi ..... :-)
Naganoyama Posted July 6, 2004 Author Posted July 6, 2004 (edited) Not a single Ozeki left, but Miyabiyama, Toyozakura and Otsukasa instead - quite surprising. And of course Hakuho. (But I assume you omitted his name because you were not surprised that he should be there.) Do you think he will manage to string together two excellent performances in consecutive basho? Quite an impressive start to his makuuchi career so far. As for Tochiazuma, I still think of him as an ozeki. I suppose I will know soon enough whether I need to adjust my thinking. Yubiquitoyama Posted July 6, 2004 Posted July 6, 2004 As for Tochiazuma, I still think of him as an ozeki. Yay! :-) Hold on to that thought! :-| I
Asashosakari Posted July 6, 2004 Posted July 6, 2004 (edited) Yes, considering the depressing news out of keiko, who would have thought that Tochiazuma is the only sanyaku (besides Shoryu) to be unbeaten after 3 days? Very nice, and I hope he'll prove Yubi wrong. :-| And of course Hakuho. Edited July 6, 2004 by Asashosakari
