Hakuhō says he wouldn’t have thought that Ichinojō would try to henka him(them?) because they went to train him before the basho, but after seeing his 2 other henka he had it on his mind. So at the tachiai he says he moved his left foot forward, but kept his right foot behind (to counter a possible henka).

I don’t understand well what he says when asked why Gōeidō has beaten him 3 basho in a row. At first he makes a joke saying “with this loss the basho got more exciting” (everyone laughs). Then Dēmon says he didn’t look focused during that bout (as some of us have posted…) and Hakuhō says he wasn’t, though I don’t understand the answer to the why.

Then I think Dēmon says that “a new guy coming up and beating everyone, is the level of sumō going down?” or something like that, and Hakuhō actually agrees convincingly.

Yeah the vids were great. Watched 12 out of the 13 days on the recap and was gonna watch the other 2 live on UBS but for for some reason there were no live showings those days. Did not matter as just a few hour later you had those recaps out fast. Thank you.
