As the only heya in Chuo ward, Arashio-beya rikishi performed at the Chuo-city Sports Day today on the Tsukishima sports ground - host is Wakatakamoto (his brothers are at the jungyo)

Well, on 2/20/2025 I read through "Nishonoseki Beya Drinking Party Scandal", then "Flying Monkey Trouble - Tobizaru Accused of Bullying", so I was a little nervous opening up "Rikishi extra activities", but it's just Abi at a volleyball game -- whew!

More nervous depending on if you knew it was about Abi, from just a glimpse at the new post overview page, or not from just the new post kuroboshi at the topic list

Tamawashi like nearly always before a Nagoya-basho today visited the grave of yokozuna Tamanoumi in his hometown Gamagori, Aichi. A Kataonami-beya sempai, who died from appendicitis while active, at age 27.

This time Aonishiki is the one for the kick-off event at the Asakusa temple

Next day at the Calore kitchen kids plaza npo-calore.jp/business/communityrestaurant, Sachiko Kobayashi with Kitadaichi, Kiryuko and Okaryu from Tatsunami-beya served onigiri and chanko-nabe to about 100 kids, made from 30kg of the freshly harvested Tatsunami farm rice
