It's almost as if they'd trained for it, like there was some sort of thing they did in practice that prepared them for that... ;-)

My curiousity is going to have to make me expose my ignorance, (again!) Usually i'd keep quiet and pretend i understand but i don't have a clue and i really want to know! What's going on? :)

Local clay is used to build the dohyos. The clay used in Nagoya and Kyushu is much more slippery than that used in Tokyo. The rikishi have footing problems in both of these.
