RotoSumo Kosho request process

Recommended Posts

There appears to be some confusion as to how to request kosho via the RotoSumo website and by e-mail.

1) VIA THE WEBPAGE: The only way to request kosho is through the registration page. In other words, you must register as per usual (as if you were going to participate) only then can you request an abscence. This will cause the kosho request to appear on the secret registration page that only Kofuji and I have access to.

For webpage requests, you have two weeks prior to the basho during the registration period to request an abscence via the page. Before and after that period, you must contact me via e-mail to make such a request.

2) VIA E-MAIL: The confusion here was my fault as the rules page had the wrong e-mail address listed (it's lmilliard@snet.net, not lmilliard@snet.com). I've fixed this with Kofuji's help. I've also included my alternate e-mail address (cyclonic@hotmail.com) so if you have problems contacting me at one, you can always try the other.

IMPORTANT: If you contact me via e-mail and I don't reply assume that I did not recieve your request. So keep trying, or send to my alternate address.

For e-mail requests you have from the release of the new banzuke until the final Sunday of the next tournament to make any such request. After that you will be treated as a non-kosho abscence and will be demoted accordingly.

As for the case of Tomitsuki, I will make a Rijicho decision concerning his status in a couple of days....

EDIT: Also, if you are a member of this forum, you can make a kosho request by contacting me via the forum's private messanger.

This is clear and correct, thank you Zentoryu! (Laughing...)
