Nikkan is known to make mistakes in their kensho counts from time to time, but they usually get around to correcting them. Also, Nikkan only posts the top 10 everyday, so I have no idea how many kensho someone not on that list has. Kisenosato stayed tied with Yokozuna in the all important W/L standings, taking down Kotooshu and notching 8 more envelopes. Harumafuji took home 23 envelopes from a win over Shohozan. Kakuryu picked 5 and Kotoshogiku 2. 2

Hakuho and Kise moved to 11-0, picking up 28 and 9 kensho respectively, while Harumafuji added 7 to his total. 1

Neither happened and Hakuho claimed his 25th top-division title. The Yokozuna also claimed 63 kensho over the final two days, clearing 300 for the tournament. It's the first time since Aki 2012 that anyone took home more the 300 envelopes. It's also the first time in several years that there have been at least three rikishi finishing the tournament with 100 or more. 4
