Kashunowaka Posted May 26, 2004 Posted May 26, 2004 Banzuke gai:[...] Nishihara That must be the guy who entered from the wrong side ... http://www.sumoforum.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=1389 Career record: 2 wins, 4 losses (2 by fusen!), and a lot of yasumi. (Holiday feeling...) Incidentally, the guy who was on the wrong side - Takanokuni - still hasn't cleared his first kachi-koshi. But at least he made it into Jonidan on the last banzuke (Jd124w, 2-5). (Punk rocker...)
Naganoyama Posted May 26, 2004 Posted May 26, 2004 Sandanme:West 29 Futasegawa Do you mean Fukuseyama?
Kintamayama Posted May 26, 2004 Author Posted May 26, 2004 (edited) Sandanme:West 29 Futasegawa Do you mean Fukuseyama? Yes, I do.. Always remember-a Kintamayama post without mistakes is not a Kintamayama post. Thanks for the correction. Edited May 26, 2004 by Kintamayama
Asashosakari Posted May 26, 2004 Posted May 26, 2004 Odd to find Kigawafuji on the Kyokai's list...wasn't he already listed as retired after last basho? (Clapping wildly...)
Kintamayama Posted May 26, 2004 Author Posted May 26, 2004 Odd to find Kigawafuji on the Kyokai's list...wasn't he already listed as retired after last basho? (Clapping wildly...) Yes..I found that tres odd myself.
Elenrian Posted May 27, 2004 Posted May 27, 2004 Hum... What about Takanonami? Are you talking about the lower divisions only, or are you including the sekitoris?
Kintamayama Posted May 27, 2004 Author Posted May 27, 2004 Hum... What about Takanonami? Are you talking about the lower divisions only, or are you including the sekitoris? Takanonami, Hamanoshima and Wakanojou retired during the basho. I just mentioned the guys who retired after the basho, or their retirement became public after the basho.
