Takekaze, receiving the advice "As a sumotori, do sumo!" from a Chuudai/Nakadai/? senior, and getting his first win: "I wasn't thinking that I want to win, I was thinking I've got to do sumo!!" "I want to win, rather than not doing sumou (?), I think."

Kakuryuu, stopping the oozeki camp's losing streak from yesterday at 6: "Of course, I have to win. But it hasn't come together yet. It doesn't fit well yet though. (?)"

Kisenosato, repelling the forcefully moving Myougiryuu and stopping his losing streak at 2, uninterestedly: "My condition isn't bad. It wasn't particularly necessary to change my attitude."

Harumafuji, defeating Toyohibiki with uwatedashinage. On the bout lasting one second: "My opponent fell down so I didn't do anything."

Thanks for digging up these quotes! You had a couple of ?'s in the translations, so here is how I would translate those lines:

I thought "I've gotta (sumo) wrestle" not "I want to win".

But it hasn't come together yet. (しっかり is to be steady or be well put together in this case)

Chudai is right (Chuo University).

Yeah, Nakadai sounds quite funny - if German is your mother tongue... ;-)

Turns out it is (though I'm living in Canada now), wasn't thinking of it like that though.

Thanks for the information, Asashosakari.

And as always, thanks for the corrections! I really wasn't quite sure what to make of some bits this time.
