After getting the confirmation emails every basho I entered for more years than I care to remember, my day 1 confirmation emails turned out to be in my spam box this time. I have no idea why this happened, but it has been fixed for day 2.

I didn't get ANY mails from ISP and Toto, not even the entry confirmation. No, if those mails are filtered, it's before they can reach my GMX-mail-account.

Strange, I did receive all mail confirmations so far, from all games, from day 1 of the basho.

I know this is not really a "bug," but Day 9 of the tournament is in the books, and there is no sign of life in the Hoshitori Game. I realize, if it's Doitsuyama who still manages this game, that he is very busy with the Sumo Reference site, and that is a marvelous resource for all of us. I also don't know what it takes to get the game up and running each basho. It could be quite involved. So, I don't want to be disrespectful and suggest anyone is lollygagging.

However, it really takes away a lot of enjoyment from the game not to have results into the second week. For many of us who have a group of friends playing the game with us, exchanging banter about our daily rises and falls in the chart is nearly as enjoyable as watching the actual matches. If Doitsuyama's schedule no longer allows for timely updates, is it possible we have another enthusiastic and technically savvy fan among us who could take over and restore this most venerable of sumo games to its former glory?

Many of you will have noticed, but those who haven't might be pointed to the fact that the standings for Hoshitori Game and also Makushita Game are now available. Usually, I send a reminder to Doitsuyama on shonichi about unresolved game issues, but this time he missed it due to having a vacation from which he returned yesterday. Sorry for the inconvenience.

There is a problem with the Daily form for Bench Sumo Day 1 (2022 Natsu basho), This  pops up when I try to reach the Entry Form. Anybody else having this problem?

Also, no Salary Cap standings yet and Oracle's live standings are a bit inaccurate due to Ichinojo and Ishiura not being stricken from the scoring page yet.

I don't know if this matters much, especially as I'm doing terrible, but one of my spots in Bingo is blank.  Would it allow me to enter if I left one blank? If so why doesn't my sub take the spot?

Heads up....

There is a known day 1 bug for Bench Sumo, where it changes the entry date to 'day 5'. This seems to occur as the action approaches. Currently the entry page is working, so I strongly suggest that players make an early day 1 entry to avoid problems later.

I don't know where to write this, but might as well do it here. It's concerning my juryo game entry.

I logged in an entry with my old shikona Oskanohana, which I changed to Oskahanada because after an hiatus some years ago I couldn't remember my f*** password, but then again I did remember it eventually but I kept that sumogames account as "dead", and while making my picks for all games, I inadvertedly logged in the Oskanohana picks.

I entered my picks with the Oskahanada shikona, but I don't want the juryo game "Oskanohana" to count for anything or influence the World Champion or anything like that (This is for @Randomitsuki). I can't seem to be able to delete my picks, so I'll just change them to the most stupid ones I can think of so as not to influence anything (hopefully my Ishiura yusho pick just eliminates me from contention but then again he'll come back on day 3 and win it all).

So yeah, I'm not trying to gain any unfair advantage, I'm just an idiot. Might as well make it known for everyone
