Asashosakari Posted November 16, 2014 Posted November 16, 2014 You mean Kaiomitsuki. Hope one day Kotomitsuki will play bench with us :-) That'll teach me not to rush a correction of someone else. (Laughing...)
kuroimori Posted November 16, 2014 Posted November 16, 2014 Didn't know you were Rowitoro?I think gernobono mixed you up with Kotomitsuki. You mean Kaiomitsuki.Hope one day Kotomitsuki will play bench with us :-) but most likely he won't be very good, because he will be distracted by other betting activities... ;-) 1
Achiyama Posted November 17, 2014 Posted November 17, 2014 (edited) So, are the results of Bench Sumo - Day 8 gonna be posted any time soon? Edited November 17, 2014 by Achiyama
Gernobono Posted November 17, 2014 Posted November 17, 2014 Didn't know you were Rowitoro?I think gernobono mixed you up with Kotomitsuki. did not mix him up, but so kotononame at least got ONE result..... hoped that eases tension
Pandaazuma Posted November 18, 2014 Author Posted November 18, 2014 Hoshitori appears to have disappeared from our planet.
Fukurou Posted November 18, 2014 Posted November 18, 2014 (edited) Hoshitori appears to have disappeared from our planet. Yes, 404 error when attempting to load Hoshitori results standings. Also, Runtime Error when trying to load RotoSumo results standings. (other Sumogames games, such as ISP, are loading results standings ok) Edited November 18, 2014 by Fukurou
Doitsuyama Posted November 18, 2014 Posted November 18, 2014 Hoshitori appears to have disappeared from our planet. That was an oshidashi from Osunaarashi. I fixed it for now, just hope no more returns from fusen (or fusen at all) are happening. 2

Doitsuyama Posted November 18, 2014 Posted November 18, 2014 Not really. I suppose their was some DB timeouts.
Jakusotsu Posted November 18, 2014 Posted November 18, 2014 Not really. I suppose their was some DB timeouts.Their what? Something is missing here... (sorry, couldn't resist)
Doitsuyama Posted November 18, 2014 Posted November 18, 2014 Not really. I suppose their was some DB timeouts.Their what? Something is missing here...(sorry, couldn't resist) (Laughing...) Hey I'm not a native English speaker. (Sigh...) Only them must be perfect. :-S 1
Pandaazuma Posted November 18, 2014 Author Posted November 18, 2014 Sorry mods...off-topic coming on here...but I should point out, backed up by an awful blog (linked below) by 'Dave' in 2009 (that also contains numerous errors in English), that quite a few native English speakers are said to be likely to fail the Eiken level 1 English test. I've seen the questions myself and I can see how any native speaker who doesn't stray from conversational English could quite easily fail. Not sure what the statistics are, but for the non-native speakers here...if you can find a few sample questions online, give them a go. Many of the non-native English speakers here are absolutely brilliant, incidentally...in many cases, their writing skills far eclipse those of plenty of native speakers. Here's that awful blog: http://www.biginjapan.co/biginjapan/eiken-success/
Gurowake Posted November 18, 2014 Posted November 18, 2014 Reminds me that I saw someone write "Lawn Forcement" when talking about police officers a few days ago. Plenty of English natives don't have any clue what they're actually saying, just how it sounds. 2
Asashosakari Posted November 18, 2014 Posted November 18, 2014 To paraphrase an erudite scholar elsewhere, native speakers just take it for granite sometimes. 3
Jakusotsu Posted November 19, 2014 Posted November 19, 2014 if you can find a few sample questions online, give them a go.Have a link?
Randomitsuki Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 (edited) I could not enter picks for Bench Sumo (and Juryo Game) as of two minutes ago (Runtime Errors). All day long, sumogames.de pages (including the DB) took almost forever to load, so maybe this is related. Edited January 6, 2015 by Randomitsuki
Taigiin khuu Posted January 15, 2015 Posted January 15, 2015 (edited) Juryo Game Day 2 is missing :-) That should be a :-( Juryo game day 5 is also not registering points. Edited January 15, 2015 by Taigiin khuu
Pandaazuma Posted January 17, 2015 Author Posted January 17, 2015 Looks like the original days were fixed in Juryo Game but Day 6 is not there now. Not that I particularly want to see them. :-(
Jejima Posted January 18, 2015 Posted January 18, 2015 I can't get the day 8 results for Bench Sumo at present.....
Gernobono Posted January 18, 2015 Posted January 18, 2015 I can't get the day 8 results for Bench Sumo at present..... i guess doitsuyama has taken a day off at the weekend and therefore did not enter the torikumi #getyourrestalex
Jakusotsu Posted January 18, 2015 Posted January 18, 2015 The "rest" Doitsuyama gets on weekends would be much too exhausting for me. B-)
kuroimori Posted January 19, 2015 Posted January 19, 2015 The Sumo DB doesn't grab any results today, I have to get them from the NSK site *yikes*
Jejima Posted January 19, 2015 Posted January 19, 2015 The Sumo DB doesn't grab any results today, I have to get them from the NSK site *yikes* That is fixed now (Thanks Doitsuyama :-)) - but the Bench automation has not yet grabbed them....
