Gmail here too. Are you implying that the server discriminates your e-mail's place of origin? Has it gained sentience and as many of the AI internet experiments from the past, has it turned to xenophobia?

At least you guys still can play the game.  I have been unable to log in to my SumoGames account to play daily games like ISP, Turn the Tide, and ChainGang. 

All attempts to reach SumoGames admin at doitsuyama@ozumo.de had failed.

By the way, I'm experiencing a similar behaviour with this forum here. Usually I got a notification email for each PM or moderation item, then they came only sporadically, and now it stopped altogether since a couple of months.

This e-mail Account ist dead since a couple of years. Better try to to trigger him the way below. He is active in this Forum from time to time and will see this notification.

Yeah, it cleared up shortly after. Guess it didn't matter, since my best lineup still would've lost by Doitsuyama rule. At least my comment wasn't a lie. You were just too good today.

I'm pretty sure I did paper Oyakata and I know for a fact that I did bingo but I don't show up as having registered for either. Anyone know what's up with that? I could've sworn I saw myself in bingo yesterday unless I somehow looked at the previous basho on day 1?

I’ve been trying to register an account on sumofan.net in order to play Tipspiel, but I keep getting rejected for having given an “incorrect answer.” The security question asks for “Hakuho’s rank” and I’m not sure what answer it’s looking for but it doesn’t appear to be Yokozuna.

The answer might be like that famous relationship status: "It's complicated".

You may try other answers like:

- GOAT

- Oyakata

- "Surely not the head of his own heya"

- "A disgrace that we, as the NSK, don't want to dismiss really, he's great for the bizness, but very bad as a sisho. Kasugano? He's fine though"

- Miyagino XIII (if I can understand the db)

Hmm, for the first time in quite a few years there's been an apparent glitch in the calculation of the Toto results. In exporting the scores for the banzuke-making, it turned out that the daily results don't sum up to what's on the main standings; a new player named Backeido was active for the first five days but somehow does not appear on the standings. @Doitsuyama - any idea what might have gone wrong there?

I’m unable to register to play any of the games hosted at sumogames.jp (Norizo Cup, Paper Oyakaya, and Ozumo Bingo). The pre-registration step for each of the games requires confirming an email, but I never get a confirmation email. Can anyone help?

It still isn't working for me. I tried to reset my password and that failed. I also tried to pre-register with a different email address and I didn't get an email for that either.

Well, that was odd. I managed to open the Bench entry page about 10 minutes before the deadline just fine, but when I tried to submit my lineup I got the dreaded Day 5 error.

I had the exact same problem about 5 minutes before deadline. Made my picks, hit submit and got Day 5 error message...
