Akinomaki Posted June 27, 2012 Posted June 27, 2012 (edited) At a Nagoya primary school. As part of international culture studies, Aminishiki was invited to teach about sumo as part of the traditional Japanese culture in front of 50 6th-graders. In questions and answers he gave an introduction into rikishi daily life, food and keiko. "What is it you are afraid of ?" "The shisho, Isegahama-oyakata (former Asahifuji) I fear the most." "What does sumo mean to you, Aminishiki-seki?" "It's my life itself." Then it was paper sumo and arm wrestling (ude-zumo) and he also promoted the Nagoya basho. "Please support in baseball the Chunichi Dragons, in soccer the Nagoya Grampus and in sumo Aminishiki." Nikkan Edited June 27, 2012 by Akinomaki 2
