Guest Hidenohana Posted May 14, 2004 Posted May 14, 2004 You're from Grimsby, Fujisan? B-) Small world....
Yoavoshimaru Posted May 14, 2004 Posted May 14, 2004 Uh oh, another Grimsby person? :-P (Applauding...)
Fujisan Posted May 14, 2004 Posted May 14, 2004 You're from Grimsby, Fujisan? (Applauding...) Small world.... I am indeed,Grimsby born and bred- We do seem to have a rather large Sumo following for such a small town- Also originally from Grimsby are brothers Jomojo and Jeijima who post here and their sister Kamejima who plays bench sumo in the sandamme division. Are you still living in Grimsby then Hidenohana?

Guest Hidenohana Posted May 15, 2004 Posted May 15, 2004 (edited) Currently residing in Grimsby.Nice to know that there is an underground of hardcore sumo wrestling fans here. ;-) Edited May 15, 2004 by Hidenohana
Fujisan Posted May 16, 2004 Posted May 16, 2004 (edited) Maybe we could meet up sometime if its appropriate age wise-How old are you if you dont mind me asking? Im 37 by the way. Edit- I can tell you exactly where you can find me every weekday between 8.30am and 10.30am this week if you wanna see me,on the ground floor computers at the top town library in Grimsby waiting for the last few results to come through and seeing how my Sumo games went- Just look for a small balding guy probably cursing very loudly,I doubt anyone else will be looking through the sumo sites so you shouldnt have a hard time finding me and of course its a public place like they reccomend when meeting someone off the net. Yoavoshimaru Posted May 17, 2004 Posted May 17, 2004 Or look for the guy yellinw "Ulsimitsuki watch your back I'm coming for you!" :-P You should form a Grimsby Sumo Fan Club or something.
Guest scarebear Posted May 26, 2004 Posted May 26, 2004 If someone picked him for 13 points in Hoshitori would be a richman now... (Clapping wildly...) I think that you talk about Scarebear Think I had Hokutoriki on 12 points, but can't confirm.
Guest scarebear Posted May 26, 2004 Posted May 26, 2004 If someone picked him for 13 points in Hoshitori would be a richman now... (Enjoying a beer...) I think that you talk about Scarebear I think Scarebear is scared right now. (Clapping wildly...) I agree... A Hokutoriki-yusho might completely spoil his agenda (Nodding yes...) Scarebear this basho had many laughs on your comments on his progress. It was a somewhat different path to his usual 0-15 finish, and didn't end up with the red lantern, but the journey was fun all the same. A Hokutoriki yusho and a shukun-sho to Scarebear would have been a sight to see.
Guest scarebear Posted May 26, 2004 Posted May 26, 2004 He would probably retire in disgrace... (Clapping wildly...) As long as Ichinoya can continue in real sumo, (Scarebear is somwhat younger), I think that Scarebear might be around for a few more years. No retirement plans as Scarebear gets 2 months hyBEARnation between each basho and always feels sleepy before the basho, thus probably helping in his great selection picks.
Guest scarebear Posted May 26, 2004 Posted May 26, 2004 Scarebear for Ozeki! (Clapping wildly...) I sometimes wonder why nobody has adopted Scarebear, don't think that any cyber rikishi have been adopted yet.
Guest scarebear Posted May 26, 2004 Posted May 26, 2004 Lets think of Hokutoriki winning tomorrow against Asashoryu, taking a kinboshi and ending the rensho...I really would like to see Scarebears face expression if that happens ;) Scarebear was actually having a great laugh reading the HT daily report to family members.
Guest scarebear Posted May 26, 2004 Posted May 26, 2004 Who *is* Scarebear anyway? I think there was some consensus last year that he was NOT a player with two shikona who has another one he tries to win with, but I suppose that is still in doubt. Anyway, I must say I admire his persistence. I would think most who played to lose would tire relatively quickly, but 2 basho away from his second re-start at M16 Scarebear might be doomed by the completely unbelievable run of Hokutoriki. (Clapping wildly...) Not quite accurate. Scarebear's cyber stablemate has not done so well lately, has won a few yusho/sansho in a couple of games over the years. Hasn't done much for the past couple though. Some serious training is required for Scarebear's stablemate. Hokutoriki faithfully choked at the last hurdle and Scarebear returned to home territory.
Guest scarebear Posted May 26, 2004 Posted May 26, 2004 Scarebear is a person who tries to get the last place in Totoro' Hoshitori. Oh yes, I know that. I just wondered whether anyone knew who he is in real life. There are 2 or 3 SMl/forum members who know, but they have sworn not to BEAR Scarebear's real identity.
Guest scarebear Posted May 26, 2004 Posted May 26, 2004 Lets think of Hokutoriki winning tomorrow against Asashoryu, taking a kinboshi and ending the rensho...I really would like to see Scarebears face expression if that happens ;) Ok, i want to see that picture of Scarebears face expression right now! ;) (Enjoying a beer...) (Holiday feeling...) (In a bad mood...) (Pulling hair...) (Eh?) :-S (Blinking...) (Shaking head...) think they pretty much sum up Scarebear's emotions.
Lucius Flavonius Posted May 27, 2004 Posted May 27, 2004 I think that these latest posts don't concern Sumo.
Asashosakari Posted May 27, 2004 Posted May 27, 2004 I think that these latest posts don't concern Sumo. Pray tell, what makes you say that?
Lucius Flavonius Posted May 28, 2004 Posted May 28, 2004 I think that these latest posts don't concern Sumo. Pray tell, what makes you say that? He posts nonsense.
Jesinofuji Posted May 28, 2004 Posted May 28, 2004 His posts would probably make more sense if you played Hoshitori.
