To make players think a bit about their picks, the amendment would change the rule for win/loss selections. I would suggest that a sekitori being selected to win his next bout must have an overall losing record, i.e. 4-7; and also to have lost his last bout. Obviously the reverse would apply to selection of a sekitori to lose his next bout. I think it would make selection a bit more thought provoking rather than the easy pick that Shotenro is, now that he's being fed to the lions. The scenario that involves Shotenro almost provides an automatic successful Loss pick for the rest of the basho! Just a thought. ronnie

Right now it seems to be difficult enough as it is (there tend to be more kuroboshi than shiroboshi each day). Narrowing down the selection might produce days where it's virtually impossible to win. We don't really want to have results like in Guess Myogiryu's Aite, do we? What do the other players think?
