Fay Posted December 26, 2011 Posted December 26, 2011 Got the new Takanohana calendar from Takanoiwa, much better than the official one.
Yubinhaad Posted December 26, 2011 Posted December 26, 2011 (edited) Got the new Takanohana calendar from Takanoiwa, much better than the official one. (Holiday feeling...) Great to see Takaisamu! I like Takanoiwa's Usain Bolt impression in the last pic. Can't quite make out what Matsuki is doing though? Edited December 26, 2011 by Yubinhaad
Kotoviki Posted December 26, 2011 Posted December 26, 2011 Got the new Takanohana calendar from Takanoiwa, much better than the official one. Yes, I love mine too! this year's is the best!!!
Asameshimae Posted December 26, 2011 Posted December 26, 2011 Yes, he definitely seems to be trying to continue to uphold the image of the innovator and reformer. More power to him.
byrns Posted December 27, 2011 Posted December 27, 2011 How could an unconnected Canadian get his hands on one of these?
Gernobono Posted December 27, 2011 Posted December 27, 2011 How could an unconnected Canadian get his hands on one of these? maybe you can get martina or viki to marry you......
Andonishiki Posted December 27, 2011 Posted December 27, 2011 awesome !!! ebay has a seller of the original kyokai calendar, but this one is special.... too bad I'm already married... but is there any other way to get hold of it ?? I guess in this case yaocho is welcome ?? :-) (I am not worthy...)
Fay Posted December 27, 2011 Author Posted December 27, 2011 I already have my Spatzl Nr. 1,5 to marry :-), but I guess I could try to get 2 more calendar. I will check my sources (I am not worthy...).
sekihiryu Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 I like Takanoiwa's Usain Bolt impression in the last pic. Can't quite make out what Matsuki is doing though? Bolt? more like Hulk - Hulk Hogan! The Hulkster was doing that when Bolt was just a glimmer in his father's eye.

Kotoviki Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 my favorite page is my twins with Takanohana.. nicely done on that page... I was told you can buy a calendar for 1,500 yen or 2,000 yen now my brain is not clear... but I can also call the twins to ask if someone likes..
Kuroyama Posted December 29, 2011 Posted December 29, 2011 ebay has a seller of the original kyokai calendar I wonder who that could possibly be? (Applauding...)
Fay Posted January 10, 2012 Author Posted January 10, 2012 I asked for 3 and got 5 (I wish my bosses would do the same ...) 2 calendars are still available.
Kimyouzan Posted January 12, 2012 Posted January 12, 2012 Looks like a fun calendar! I wish that heya with more recognizable rikishi would do the same thing. I used to love the annual official calendar, but the last couple have been a bit lame. My favorite sumo pic of all time was the cover of the 2010 (or was it the 2009??) calendar, with Hakuho's back during the dohyo-iri.
