Is it me or there are no options to choose Daidou,Kaisei, Takekaze, or Tochinowaka? Even though I didn't pick them, I did pick Toyohibiki who is against Daidou, but their bout does not appear on my bouts page..

Not only Bench Sumo. If you look at Sekitoto or Maegashira Game, said sad rikishi and some more are without rank.

Since Kofuji won't be available any time soon, I fear the wurst.

Well, we can at least pick them in the daily games. In Bench, we can't pick them for our squad, not that any of them interest me personally...

True, but will the automation get their results right? Better not take any of them in Chaingang.

Just making my Rotosumo picks - and all of the above mentioned are not allowed as options. For those players who have already made their selections as one of these four, may well find that they are not scored in the automation for the time being....

Day 1 Torikumi-reading bug perhaps? If somebody has the keys to kick that part of the automation, perhaps it'll help. (I don't.)

Edit: Given that the Toto entry mask not only misses their ranks but also their last record, my guess is that the rikishi imported from the schedule failed to be associated with the existing database entries for those rikishi, with the effect that the original versions (which are on the banzuke imported two weeks ago) are treated as kyujo.

My guessed implications for the scoring:

- Toto should work fine, no matter if the rikishi in question are selected as winners or losers. You're simply picking a Kaisei imposter instead of the real thing, which should make no difference in daily selection.

- Chain should work fine on a day-to-day basis, but the tie-breaker scores will be wrong if somebody successfully picks one of the imposter entries, as there's no rank score associated to them.

- Bench scoring should work fine except for players who picked these rikishi (in their original form) for their squads when it was still possible. In addition: Better be careful with the auto-henka button if you have one of these rikishi or one of their daily opponents. (Bolded because it's kinda important...)

- Ditto for Rotosumo's scoring.

I can confirm that it was once possible. I have Tochinowaka on my squad. Rather than change him, I'll be the guinea pig for this basho. I'm not on an Ozeki run or anything anyway (though I would almost certainly return to Makuuchi with a winning record).

I panicked when Tochinowaka didn't appear in my daily bouts and decided to replace him with Toyohibiki but his bout doesn't appear either! Now I wish I hadn't changed it.

Because he's up against Daidou, who , for all intents and purposes, doesn't exist.

Since it wasn't mentioned yet, Sadanoumi and Aoiyama are also off-limits in Roto.

also... my chosen and confirmed line up --- is not matching the "day 1 bouts" e-mail to the group.

Here is your entry, shimodahito:

4 Hakuho 3 Kotoshogiku 3 Goeido 2 Kitataiki 2 Takarafuji

Bench: Kaisei Daido Wakakoyu Baruto Takayasu

Comment:

3 of my 10 team did not show up on the bouts list: Kaisei,

Takayasu, and Daido. I double checked and none are out with

injury. Not sure how to make my Henka selection now.

Henka: the automated gyoji will henka only the loser of fusen bouts.

Your entry may be changed up until 2:00 pm JST on 10 July, 2011

So in addition to the not being able to pick these rikishi the real bugaboo appears to be with the results grabbing in the various games.

In Bench there are no daily results pages showing up and the results that the D2D Gyojis are posting have to be considered "provisional" since they have no way of knowing what the original lineups looked like before the auto-henka mechanism kicked in.

In Roto Sumo even if you didn't choose one of the "ghost" rikishi you won't get credit for any victory over one of them either so the scores are not being compiled coreectly. For instance on Day 1 I should have tallied 108 pts but only got credit for 91 since Okinoumi's victory over Kaisei wasn't picked up and today I lost 22 pts because Oki again faced a ghost rikishi plus I had Sadanoumi as one of my Juryo picks and lost 7 pts on his victory.

Juryo Game and Maegashira Game aren't posting any results at all.

ISP seems to be functioning normally as apparently is Seki-Toto.

I know that the Bench Sumo admins are aware of the problem as obviously is Asashosakari of Toto but has anyone let the admins of the other affected games know of the situation? And is there any other programmer than Kofuji available or allowed access to tha automation to look into it...Doitsuyama or Zenjimoto perhaps?

I am aware of the problem and no I don't think anyone other than Bob can fix it. I wouldn't get too wound up over it as it will eventually get fixed (assuming Bob isn't gone for an extended period of time).

Zenjimoto is more into the beautiful arts if I might say so. And I don't have access, at least it's not working with the new server. In the past I was able to correct a glitch on the server in Kofuji's absence but this time I can't even try anything, sorry.

I believe this should be fully sorted now ... Sorry ...

No need to be sorry, Bob. It was the NSK page who screwed us.

Many, many thanks for all your efforts!

Juryo is fixed, Maegashira results are OK, stats not yet, thanks to Bob.

Just I see: The Maegashira game results are now correct.

I think we have to say many thanks to Bob!

Anybody know what's going on with the Hoshitori site, no results are appearing so far.

Sorry about that, it's up and running now.

Real big thanks for everyone's effort in dealing with things.

Just for the records (and here, because I really cannot be bothered to join the BS Yahoo group): The repaired lineups of days 1 and 2 had (at least in my case) no effect on the points. I.e. the (-) next to my winning ghost rikishi turned to a (+), but the score didn't change. In such a way I'm at 1-2 instead of 2-1, but I don't care so much, if this would be cumbersome to amend.

It's been corrected by Kofuji.

And you don't really have to join the Yahoo group to read everything here:
