We're entering the world of pain...
Getting desperate here...
it's like a tunnel with no light this time....
I hate having three Sekiwake

Wow, this really must be the dream game for masochists. I prefer to be on the other side, also known as Guessbusters. :-P

Only this time... A few months ago there was a suggestion to change up the game because it had become too easy. (Applauding...)

in italian eight is "otto'

sounds a bit like ooshuu ?

no ?

i think Kisel should get a weaker guy next (ami or yoshi) to get a chance to make up some ground and gain confidence before the huuuuge hakuho fight, but then again....

no !

Day 8: Kotooshuu

@ doitsuyama - you really made me laugh - yes, this absolutely IS a game for masochists

more or less, the bondage area of sumogames (In jonokuchi...)

Errr, that would be me who made that suggestion. And I stand by what I said, though I think the argument was framed more in terms of being too predictable rather than too easy. Having 75% of the players loading up on a bandwagon day after day and everyone patting themselves on the back for getting 10 wins is not my idea of a fun, challenging game, but to each their own. I'm glad there are 3 sekiwakes this time around and that things suddenly aren't so easy and that on many days we're getting 5 or 6 or 7 different selections for aite. I think it's great that there are so many different opinions on possible aites. It would be one thing if we had to meet some pre-determined goal of victories. But hey, if you can get 4 wins when everyone else only gets 3, you're the champ just as much as someone winning a 5-way tie-breaker at 10-5.

Sorry if my post came across a bit too flippant, wasn't the intention.

Well, that's easy to solve, just make the selection process non-public and only the really obvious (and usually correct) bandwagons will still happen. I don't think that's in the cards though.

Why the gratuitous "patting themselves on the back" putdown, BTW? That smacks a bit of "gee, now other players get to have good results, too, and I'll actually have to work for my yushos" arrogance. It's not like the KK line has exceeded 8-7 yet.
