2011 Yushos - Which ranks will win them?

Hi everyone!

Another annual poll.

This time, which ranks will win the yusho?

In 2010, all six yushos went to Yokozunas (1 for Asashoryu and 5 for Hakuho). But now that there is only one Yokozuna, can there be another clean-sweep?

All 6 to Yokozuna Hakuho. Barring injury, who can currently get the better of him over 15 days?

Baruto will win either Nagoya or Aki.

I agree with Asojima and say Baruto will get a yusho in 2011. Hakuho will take the other 5 rather convincingly as usual.

I must say, for a first post, that's a pretty good one!!

We think it will be another stellar year for the Yokozuna (ie Hakuho) yushos, with most of us thinking he will get at least 5.

There is a strong vote for one ozeki to take the other yusho of the year.

We don't seem to think that any of the lower ranks will have a look in.

Hakuho won 4 of the 2011 yushos, Harumafuji won the other one.

For the purpose of this poll, this 'readjusts' to 4.8 (so, '5') yushos for Yokozuna, and 1.2 (so, '1') yushos for Ozeki, with none for the rest.

This situation was predicted by most of us.

A little difficult to choose the winner....

Both Washuyama and Asashosakari predicted the correct split (Asojima implied it, but did not expressly state it) - but Oshirokita was the only one to predict a Harry yusho - but he overshot with two....

So, the co-winners are Washuyama and Asashosakari. (Raging at computer...)
