Kofuji Posted November 14, 2010 Posted November 14, 2010 I'll stick with my default Day 3 pick, Harumafuji.
Kotoviki Posted November 14, 2010 Posted November 14, 2010 I'm also going with Harumafuji for day 3 please!
Maguroyama Posted November 14, 2010 Posted November 14, 2010 Well, after giving you all a much-needed head start, I will now start making more logical picks. Day 3 - HARUMAFUJI
Oshirokita Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 Aaargh, I missed Day 1&2 again! Let me join the bandwagon: Day 3 Harumafuji
Asashosakari Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 It's getting late, and I can't come up with anything more sensible than the bandwagon pick for Day 3, so Harumafuji for me, too.
Jejima Posted November 15, 2010 Author Posted November 15, 2010 (edited) On Day 3, Kisenosato will face Harumafuji. I was quite surprised at the little bandwagon that went with this, as I thought that any of the remaining Ozekis could have been a valid option.... If you are one of the undefeated, you are (obviously) a co-leader, and so are invited to make an early pick for day 4. Yaochoyama (Y1E 1-2) Y1 O1 Profomisakari (O1W 2-1) Jakusotsu (S1E 3-0) S1 Gernobono (S1W 2-1) Maguroyama (S2E 1-2) S2 Jejima (S2W 2-1) Kotoviki (K1E 3-0) K1 Hidariashiyama (K1W 3-0) Asashosakari (M1E 3-0) M1 Holleshoryu (M1W 1-2) Kuroimori (M2E 3-0) M2 Chisaiyama (M2W 2-1) Oshirokita (M3E 1-0-2) M3 XiaoTan (M3W 2-1) Kofuji (M4E 3-0) M4 Kameumi (M4W 2-1) Andonishiki (M5E 3-0) M5 Mae-zumo Shimodahito (mz 1-2) Kisenosato's aites: 1. O1W Baruto, 2. Y1E Hakuho, 3. O2E Harumafuji Edited November 15, 2010 by Jejima
Jejima Posted November 15, 2010 Author Posted November 15, 2010 Day 4 - well so far the torikumi makers are giving Kise an identical programme to the M1E last basho - but surely that is to lure us into a false sense of security? Therefore, I predict a break in the pattern, and so will opt for Kaio! (In a state of confusion...)
Kofuji Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 Jejima ... you've been cribbing ... the default is Kaio for Day 4 ...
Yaochoyama Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 And to think there could have been a packed house and half the nation enjoying the Hakuho-Kise nakabi bout. Hopefully the half million viewers enjoyed it (I know I did) as well as the 91 folks in the stand. No one can ever accuse the torikumi makers of being marketing geniuses.
kuroimori Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 With Hak's streak broken, all the focus will be on the local oyajizeki. Day 4 is KAIIIIIOOOOOOOOO-time. And the old man will beat Kise, methinks.
XiaoTan Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 Well, I think I'll go back to my day 2 prediction: Kaio for day 4.
Asashosakari Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 (edited) When bandwagons collide! I'll go with Kotooshu for Day 4. Day 4 - well so far the torikumi makers are giving Kise an identical programme to the M1E last basho - but surely that is to lure us into a false sense of security? Therefore, I predict a break in the pattern, and so will opt for Kaio! :-) Hmm... 2010.09.04: M1e Tokitenku - O2w Kaio Edited November 15, 2010 by Asashosakari
Kotoviki Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 I'd like to go with Kaio for day 4 too please.. and may I say CONGRATULATIONS to Kisenosato!!!!!! :-) (Showing respect...) (Laughing...) :-D (Clapping wildly...) (Clapping wildly...) I was watching in my car and had to pull to the side of the road to be safe because I had a feeling he'd win!! Nice job!!!!! I wanted Baruto to break that losing streak but Kise did fine!!!
Profomisakari Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 Perhaps you are all right with Kaio . . . But I would have Kotooshu for day 4. Profomisakari
