On Day 9, Kisenosato gets M3E Homasho. Aran and Aminishiki formed mini-bandwagons, but a good spread of picks with 6 potential aites selected. Kotoviki and Gernobono were the only ones to vote for Homasho, giving Kotoviki the first uncontensted lead of the basho and is therefore invited to pick early.

In case XiaoTan doesn't get a day 10 pick in, his default will be Aran.

Go figure, before Day 7 I expected Aran's schedule to be 8:Hakuho 9:Kaio 10:Kisenosato, but yesterday I stupidly reconsidered and moved up Kise, so of course he does face Kaio tomorrow... Then again I wouldn't have scored anyway, Homasho wasn't my alternate pick as Kise's opponent.

Anyways, let's hope my original hunch was completely correct after all: Day 10 Aran.

On Day 10, Kisenosato gets K1E Aran. Eight players were successful today but over half of us thought Tochinoshin or keeping Kisenosato in the Maegashira. Kotoviki started a mini-bandwagon for Aminishiki which drops her into yet another melee for the lead. Kotoviki, Hidaryiashiyama and XiaoTan are invited to pick early.
