Dejima danpatsushiki

Ex- Ozeki Ex-Dejima and current Oonaruto had his danpatsushiki today at the Kkan. 330 scissors were wielded including Hakuhou's. The last cut was by Musashigawa Oyakata. "I was happy to gambarize under my shisho. I'd like to bring up rikishi who want to do Dejima sumo, and above all to help them become full fledged members of society that people can look up to,", he said amid tears. He was Ozeki for 12 months and holds the record for most basho active after falling from Ozeki-48.

I guess they meant "at the time of his retirement"..
