Gusoyama Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 Kisenosato is just the new Wakanosato. Can show signs of brilliance, but can not make that next step. The more I see of him, the more I think this. He has all the tools, but can not make that jump. If Hakuho retires, maybe, but until then, no.
Yubinhaad Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 I am hoping that this win (and it was a good win) will give Kise the impetus to make an Ozeki run. As a fan since he was Hagiwara, I would dearly love this to be the case! But for now I'll be happy if he can cobble together a kachi-koshi and get the Shukun-sho. He's flattered to deceive before, and I can't shake the feeling that winning kinboshi and sansho should already be in his past. I hope I'm utterly wrong and he does indeed go on to become Ozeki and, in time, Yokozuna.
