Perfect! (Clapping wildly...)  Would anybody happen to know when the last time was to have a similar situation???

Well, this is history in the making-there have never been 4 perfect rikishi after day 11. Not ever. Not even in the 11 day/13day basho era.

Here is an interesting (for the likes of me...) table I stole directly from Sanspo.com of Maegashira-rikishi starting a basho with at least 10 straight wins:

Nr Cons wins Basho Shikona Rank Record Hrank
1 15 1953.05 Tokitsuyama M06e 15-0Y S
15 1957.11 Tamanoumi M14e 15-0Y S
3 14 1964.01 Kiyokuni M13e 14-1Jn O
4 13 1991.07 Kotofuji M13e 14-1Y S
5 12 2000.03 Takatoriki M14e 13-2Y S
12 2004.03 Asasekiryu M12w ? ?
7 11 1960.01 Taiho M13w 12-3Jn Y
11 1991.03 Takahanada M13e 12-3Jn Y
11 1998.11 Kotonishiki M12w 14-1Y S
10 10 1960.05 Wakachichibu M14w 13-2Jn S

Cool chart, cool stats happening this basho. Hrank means highest rank I imagine. Is there a poll yet on the Asasekiryu - Kaio match tomorrow? (Clapping wildly...)
