Indeed, incredible.. As it is always written on the ISP invitation- "Many players have cried after neglecting to enter a tie-breaker". Always read the fine print.

I know what you mean. I checked my score on Day 13 and was stunned to find myself middle of the pack even though just one of my juryo picks was better than 6-7 (and not the yusho guy)...

the tie-breaker rule at the end of the tournament is as follows: whoever picked the higher-scoring rikishi from group A is put on top. If the tie can't be resolved with group A, we will then take the high-scoring rikishi from group B and so on down the line until the tie is resolved. If two stables are identical, the participant who entered their stable first will be placed on top.

He chose Kotomitsuki (9-6), I chose Kaio (8-7) so I'm simply a jun-yusho. No idea what'll happen when it comes to the W-L records though.

I liked this topic you started after 2010 Haru Basho putting together all yusho winners. Did you ever do this for the next Basho: Natsu, Nagoya and Aki? I didn't see any. Or you have decided not to do it any more. Just asking.
