Sashohitowa Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 Hello stable developers! Here are the standings of the game as of the Kyushu 2009 banzuke. The highest up to date score is again Oshirokita's: 64 (+6 since Aki). Flohru has managed to close the gap to the first spot, however, by 3 points, and is now 61 (scoring +9 since Aki. Crall (scoring also +9) has managed to catch Asashosakari for the third place (scoring "only" +6) and now they are tied with 56 points. Crall's and Flohru's basho2basho improvement (+9) is the highest one of all of us this time, and is due to improvement in 8 out of his 13 rikishi (for both of them), plus not having Ozakiumi to hit their score. The other two of the leading quadrumvirate also didn't have the retiring talent in their lists, which now appeared to be a wise choice. Talking about Ozakiumi, he is the second dropping out rikishi (after Aratoshi), that has impact across the board - 11 of us had him in. The other rikishi with big negative impact is Tokushinho with his loss of sekitori rank. On the upside, Gagamaru brought +3 points only to one person (Sashohitowa) and Kotoyutaka gave again +3 pts to Kintamayama. The rikishi who give +2 for their solid promotions are Kaisei, Azumaryu and Aoki. Now, looking forward to Kyushu: As a difference to Azumashida, I would prefer that you send your entries here in this thread, but you can also mail it to me on alexandersimeonov (at) abv (dot) bg. If you chose so, I will keep your picks confidential and will update them in the table only once the deadline passes. The following Stable Developers contain in their team a shin-maku or shin-juryo rikishi and gain a new tsukebito slot, so now they have the opportunity to add a HJk to their heyas (for having Gagamaru): Sashohitowa The following players have open slots from previous bashos: Kintamayama Bogdanyama Fuseigou Kasamatsuri Toratorii Itachi Also, the following players carry intai-ed rikishi n their heya, so they can replace them with a HJk as well: shimodahito (Ozakiumi) ilovetochinoshin (Ozakiumi) Sashohitowa (Ozakiumi) Profomisakari (Ozakiumi) Ganzohnesushi (Ozakiumi) yamaneko (Ozakiumi) liclic - 3 - (Ozakiumi, Teraonami and Hanaoka) Kintamayama - 2 - (Ozakiumi and Iwasaki) Bogdanyama (Kunigami) Neko (Ozakiumi) Vikanohara (Ozakiumi) Takanorappa - 4 slots (Ozakiumi, Sanada, Kotonakai, Kameiyama) Holleshoryu (Koshinryu) Of course, you can also replace any other member of your squad with a fresh HRJk, if you find it reasonable. Here is a copy/paste of Azumashida's last post with the rules and FAQs, only the links with the lists are updated: A reminder of the rules for those who would start now and those who don't remember everything: Stable Development Game: The Rules Form a virtual heya by selecting on the current banzuke: 1 rikishi whose highest career rank is in juryo (we'll call any such rikishi HRJ) 2 rikishi whose highest career rank is in makushita (HRms) 3 rikishi whose highest career rank is in sandanme (HRsd) 4 rikishi whose highest career rank is in jonidan (HRjd) 2 rikishi whose highest career rank is in jonokuchi (HRjk) (Send your picks to me using the "send e-mail" option from SumoForum) FAQ1: Each player can select the rikishi they want from each category, there is no system in the game to prevent players from picking the same rikishi. FAQ2: If for some reason you would rather want to keep some of your slots open, it is possible, but be aware that in any basho after Hatsu 2009, each individual open slot will only give you the possibility to recruit one HRjk. In other words, keeping slots open will not give you any advantage. FAQ3: Any player can start or restart the game at any given time over the total period of five years. Then, for each basho: if you do nothing between the release of the new banzuke and the beginning of the corresponding basho (edit: deadline is shonichi 8am JST), you keep these same rikishi in your heya. However, when any new banzuke is released, and at any point between the release of the banzuke and the beginning of the basho (edit: i.e. shonichi 8am JST), there are the following exchange possibilities: - you can replace any one rikishi (or open slot) in your selection by one HRjk of your choice - you can replace any two rikishi (and/or open slots) in your selection by one HRjd of your choice - you can replace any three rikishi (and/or open slots) in your selection by one HRsd of your choice - you can replace any six rikishi (and/or open slots) in your selection by one rikishi - of your choice, if there is any choice - who is makushita tsukedashi for this basho (mstd) - you can combine the above operations as you like (e.g. replace 3 of your rikishi with 1 HRjk and 1 HRjd, or replace 5 of your rikishi with 1 HRjd and 1 HRsd, etc.) FAQ4: These exchange possibilities are also valid for Hatsu 2009, i.e. you can change your initial selections before the beginning of the basho
