Frankly, unless Asa is fighting injured or makes a huge mistake, I don't think there's a rikishi fast enough to dump him, given the banzuke the last few basho. They're going to have to rely on blatant trickery. Aminishiki has done it, as has Kisenosato, but lately (and for more than 2/3 of this basho) Asa has been on his game, and his combination of speed and power would need to be matched for a kinboshi. The only people who give him constant trouble have been HF, Aminishiki, and of course, Hakuho. Then again, there's the henka. And we know that Asa is not henka-proof. I can see Kakuryu pulling one on him, but unless he drops back into the pack, a kinboshi is a moot point. Which brings up an interesting point: Has Hakuho ever been henka-ed? For a kinboshi?

Add to that Kisenosato out of Sanyaku and a 50/50 (IMO) chance for Toyonoshima to miss promotion, and I think we may have to start the thread all over again after Hatsu. The way he looks at the end of kyushu I do not think he can be 100% healthy in order to be at his bes tin the first days by January.
