Asojima Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 (edited) hello,i'm new here - a veteran of the late 80s channel 4 coverage - fan of chiyo, terao, and even futahaguro. i'd love to know if it's possible to view sumo online... ???? Welcome to the forum. I can give you two viewing options. First try Banzuke.com to view matches from the last five years or so. Clips of the matches are normally posted here within a day or two after they occur. If you want to view the matches live, you can do so by using the (Live Stream) URL at the top of the Sumoforum display. Live coverage of the matches usually starts somewhere around 2:30 pm Japan Standard Time on each day of the basho. Coverage is a single camera shot with no commentary. Sound is essentially an open mike of the sounds within the kokugikan. To get the signal, you will need a high speed computer link (dial up doesn't usually work) and Windows Media Player (or equivalent) installed on your computer. Edited April 16, 2009 by Asojima
Info-Sumo Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 You can also contact the french sumo site and get the 500 bouts they upload every basho...
