Mark Buckton Posted February 21, 2009 Author Posted February 21, 2009 the vote was on Friday IIRC, but I understand the Germans couldn't put together a satisfactory plan / package to host the event for financial reasons, and by Thurs the Swiss had over 50% of the vote anyway.... Nothing on the ESU site yet but they usually take time to update.

With the 10 extra categories decided last year, we will now be giving out no less than 44 european titles over the 3 days of competiton. We have creating an info-blog where you can go to find out all about time-tables for competitions, food, hotels, transport, who's coming, traveling around and general regional tourist information. the address is : http://www.monblog.ch/europeansumochampionships2009 The first infos are up more will be added in days to come.
