I went to the 2008 Kyushu basho just to say that I saw some sumo while in Japan, and found out to my surprise that it's fascinating and exciting! Now I'm a fan, if not a perfectly knowledgeable one, and am having fun learning whatever I can and following the Hatsu basho as it develops. ;-) Cheers! ;-)
