Yaochoyama Posted January 16, 2009 Posted January 16, 2009 Ahhh - the torikumi-makers did it to us again and went with Kotoshogiku. I'm starting to think they're on to us and like messing with our heads. Collectively we've only had 7 picks right out of 57 in the last 6 days.

I guess that means white stars for us all (except Maguroyama who has self-imposed a new rule to this game - one that I quite like.... Should it become an official rule for the next basho? Your comments with your day 9 entries please.) NB: Now that we are in the latter stages of the basho, please remember the new rule for this basho.... 5. Players that are leading the Yusho race (especially in the final few days of the basho), are requested / expected to get their picks in very early (before all the other players, if possible) - in order to avoid suspicions of 'tactical picking'. This means that Yaochoyama (Showing respect...) is invited to pick early. (Shaking head...)
