Sokkenaiyama Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 Right before the basho, I signed up for ALL the Superbanzuke games (I'd only been playing some 4 or 5 before that), so I completely forgot about this one yesterday. I'm back, though, so watch out. Day 4: Ama... ahem, Harumafuji.
Harry Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 Day 4... Chiyotaikai? I think I've jumped the shark this time.
Profomisakari Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 third time to try: Day 4 Hakuho This time it must be right! Profomisakari
Maguroyama Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 Ok, new tactics this basho - never guess the same rikishi two days in a row. So day 4: Harumafuji.
Chisaiyama Posted January 13, 2009 Posted January 13, 2009 Damn I missed the deadline for the Day 4 guess and my guess was the right one, it just figures. Not gonna happen for Day 5 - my choice Kotooshu.
Jejima Posted January 13, 2009 Author Posted January 13, 2009 (edited) On day 4 - it is shin-Ozeki Harry who will be Kisenosato's foe - so a sprinkling of wins. Sokkenaiyama (S1E 2-1-1) S Jejima (S1W 2-2) Maguroyama (K1E 1-3) K Harry (K1W 0-4) XiaoTan (M1E 1-3) M1 Yaochoyama (M2W 3-1 ;-)) Holleshoryu (M2E 1-3) M2 Mae-zumo ilovetochinoshin (mz 1-3) Chisaiyama (mz 1-2-1) Profomisakari (mz 1-3) Oshirokita (mz 0-2-2) Kisenosato's opponents:- Day 1. Y1W Asashoryu 2. O2E Kotooshu 3. S1E Baruto 4. O3E Harumafuji Edited January 13, 2009 by Jejima
Jejima Posted January 13, 2009 Author Posted January 13, 2009 I'm changing horses.... Hakuho for day 5 I think. ;-)
Sokkenaiyama Posted January 13, 2009 Posted January 13, 2009 I believe you got Yaochoyama's score wrong, honorable rijicho. It should be 3-1. On an unrelated note, day 5 - Kotomitsuki. P.S. Chisaiyama, Kisenosato already fought Kotooshu on day 2.
XiaoTan Posted January 13, 2009 Posted January 13, 2009 I'll stick with Hakuho for day 5. (Sign of approval...)
Profomisakari Posted January 13, 2009 Posted January 13, 2009 The same procedure as every day: Hakuho please! Profomisakari
Harry Posted January 13, 2009 Posted January 13, 2009 Hak? Stick a fork in my record this basho, I'm already about done :(
Maguroyama Posted January 13, 2009 Posted January 13, 2009 Woohoo! Finally a win! Day 5 - Kotomitsuki
Yaochoyama Posted January 13, 2009 Posted January 13, 2009 Able to buy off the Kyokai spy from Jejima after Day 2, now I have to worry that he'll buy him back, :-S or worse, that he'll turn said spy into a double agent feeding me false information (Clapping wildly...) Not knowing who to trust anymore, I'll take a flyer on Aminishiki for Day 5.
Jejima Posted January 14, 2009 Author Posted January 14, 2009 (edited) Day 5 - T'is Chiyotaikai - who no one guessed! Sokkenaiyama (S1E 2-2-1) S Jejima (S1W 2-3) Maguroyama (K1E 1-4) K Harry (K1W 0-5) XiaoTan (M1E 1-4) M1 Yaochoyama (M2W 3-2) Holleshoryu (M2E 1-4) M2 Mae-zumo ilovetochinoshin (mz 1-3-1) Chisaiyama (mz 1-3-1) Profomisakari (mz 1-4) Oshirokita (mz 0-3-2) Kisenosato's opponents:- Day 1. Y1W Asashoryu 2. O2E Kotooshu 3. S1E Baruto 4. O3E Harumafuji 5. O1W Chiyotaikai Edited January 15, 2009 by Jejima
Jejima Posted January 14, 2009 Author Posted January 14, 2009 I think I have got that spy back.... Day 6 - Hakuho (for sure! :-) )
Chisaiyama Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 I'm 1-3-1 I got nothing to lose, I'll be brave and do 2 days today: Day 6 - Aminishiki Day 7 - Hakuho [Historically the K1E almost always has the Y1E on day 7, note I said ALMOST]
